Municipal Market Activity- Dealer -Dealer Trading (September 11-13, 2001)

 

As we have noted in press releases today and yesterday, we have been unable to complete processing of information related to trades between dealers due to communications problems with New York City.  We have now been able to determine for trades between dealers the total number of trades, total par value of trades, and the total number of different issues traded on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (September 11-13, 2001).

 

These statistics are as follows:

            Total trades               45

            Total par value            $4,029,000

            Total issues               42

 

Wednesday, September 12

            Total trades               22

            Total par value            $2,823,000

            Total issues               19

 

Thursday, September 13

            Total trades               577

            Total par value            $163,220,000

            Total issues               409
